Three Ways to Engage
Ronan welcomes conversations with executives, boards, and ownership principals.
Engagements are selective, and they vary in depth, from a single defined mandate to standing counsel over time. The most effective begin before the crisis does.
Project Mandate
For major undertakings with a defined endpoint.
A high-rise opening. A portfolio expansion. A turnaround with a finish line. Some of the most consequential work an owner faces is also the most contained: a clear mandate, full senior judgment, and a clean exit when it’s done.
Embedded Leadership
When the operation needs a leader, not an advisor.
A transition. A crisis. A period when an organization needs more than advice. Ronan steps in with agreed authority, leads the operation, and works toward defined priorities and a planned handover.
Owner Advisory
For the principal who wants experienced counsel over time.
A major decision hanging in the balance. A problem no one wants to name. A board meeting that must go smoothly. Ronan offers experienced, independent judgment over time, with no seat on the org chart.

What Ronan Does
01.
Transitions & Crisis
Disruption doesn’t wait. Ronan steps into organizations that have outgrown their structure and brings order back without breaking stride. He sets direction, restores accountability, and gets the operation moving again. Coming in cold isn’t a disadvantage. It’s where he’s best. He has represented ownership before boards, city agencies, and community boards, and in complex transactions and litigation.
02.
High-Stakes Decisions
Some situations don’t allow for business as usual. Ronan brings senior judgment to the decisions that carry the most weight: financial, operational, organizational. He surfaces unexamined assumptions, applies the same discipline to judgment that he applies to data, identifies the real exposure, and clears the path to a decision. He doesn’t tell people what to choose. He makes the consequences unmistakable.
03.
Building Teams
The best teams are built with intention, not inherited by default. Ronan finds the talent worth building around, designs the structure that lets them do their best work, and sets the conditions that keep them: clear expectations, a visible path forward, recognition where it’s earned. He changes only what serves the organization. He builds teams designed to endure.
04.
Organizational Performance
Most performance problems are structural, but proximity obscures perspective. Having held direct accountability across operations, finance, leasing and marketing, pricing, capital projects, technology, labor relations, training, public relations, and new-building openings, he reads the full operation, not a single function within it: where decisions stall, where accountability diffuses, where friction compounds in silence. He has led relations with nine trade and service unions and built the financial case for a multi-year trades contract renewal.
05.
Financial Stewardship
Most advisors bring financial acumen or operational experience. Rarely both. Financial decisions are operating decisions. He reads balance sheets, stress-tests capital plans, and manages budgets at institutional scale, reporting directly to ownership and boards and presenting operating results to institutional investors. He has conducted operating due diligence for an institutional acquisition and evaluated acquisitions and sales for a national developer.
before the doors open
A privately held national developer had an ambitious pipeline and needed an operating organization ready to receive it. Ronan built one, assembling a 150-person organization and leading opening readiness for a run of ultra-luxury communities across several states. He brought pricing, staffing, leasing, facilities, training, technology, and service into one opening plan.
of a small city
At a rental community the size of a small city, Ronan led an organization of more than 400 people, across six operating functions, within a nine-figure annual operating plan, bringing people, facilities, service, and financial discipline together. He introduced appliance inventory and lifecycle controls that improved purchasing decisions and connected repair, redeployment, and capital planning. For the community’s 75th anniversary, he led a three-month concert series with combined attendance of more than 4,000.
the residents
Ronan directed renovations spanning hundreds of market-rate apartments, common areas, and amenities across two residential towers, and developed the renovation program for a third occupied building. Apartment work proceeded as individual units turned over, without requiring any building to be vacated. He coordinated leasing requirements, contractor phases, and planned water shutdowns, addressed residents’ concerns, and maintained day-to-day building operations.
